For twenty years, streaming platforms collected your listening and gave you nothing in return. We built Smashify to flip that equation. Every play, every fan, every artist, rewarded fairly.
Smashify was founded in 2024 by a group of musicians, engineers, and Web3 builders who had one thing in common. We were tired of watching streaming platforms generate billions off music we loved, while artists got fractions of a cent per stream and listeners got absolutely nothing.
The math never made sense. Spotify reported 14 billion dollars in revenue. Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, all pulling in similar numbers. And the two groups who actually create and consume the music (artists and fans) get crumbs from a table they built.
So we asked a simple question. What if streaming worked like the internet was supposed to? Open, transparent, and fair to the people who create value, not just the platforms that extract it.
Smashify is our answer. We're just getting started. But we're playing for keeps.
Smashify is currently developing and testing its artist-first music platform. Features, availability, rewards, and token functionality may change before broader release.
Roadmap priorities and timing may change based on product development, market conditions, regulatory requirements, user feedback, and strategic considerations. Quarters below are soft targets, not commitments.
We believe streaming should enrich listeners, empower artists, and operate on transparent rails. Not extract from both sides to enrich middlemen. Every line of code, every product decision, every token design, built with that mission in mind.
The primary source for official Smashify news and announcements is smashify.info, along with this website and verified Smashify accounts. App store listings and token contract addresses will be published here once they exist and have been verified. Unrelated businesses, applications, tokens, websites, or social accounts using the Smashify name are not affiliated with Smashify unless expressly identified on this website.
Not pithy slogans on an office wall. These are the actual filters we use when making product trade-offs, token economic decisions, and business choices.
Before we build anything, we ask one question. Does this make the music experience better for listeners and artists? If the answer is no, we don't build it. Tokens, blockchain, Web3, none of it matters if the music itself gets worse.
Every payout, every reward split, every economic decision is baked into smart contracts before launch. No surprise policy changes, no hidden fee tiers, no one-sided updates to terms. If we want to change something, the community has to agree.
Our code is auditable. Our treasury moves are visible. Our token economics are on-chain. We don't hide behind NDAs and closed-door board meetings. When the platform messes up, you'll hear about it from us first.
We're based in India but we built Smashify for the whole world from the first commit. No geographic royalty discrimination. No region-locked features. No "coming soon to your country" banners. Every listener, every artist, gets the same deal.
Musicians, engineers, and builders from India, Singapore, and beyond. Lean and remote-first, united by a single belief: music deserves better infrastructure.
Veterans of the Indian indie and hip-hop scene. People who lived through the broken royalty system and decided to fix it themselves.
Engineers shipping at scale, with backgrounds across fintech, streaming, and blockchain. We ship fast, audit everything, and document in public.
Operations, community managers, and artist liaisons across three time zones. Real humans answering real questions, every day of the week.
Smashify is an early-stage company. Details about funding and partners, where applicable, will be shared through official Smashify channels once they can be confirmed.
Smashify is currently under development and testing. Whether you're a listener, an artist, a developer, or just someone who cares about music, there's a place for you in the Smashify community.
